What to name a child? In Italy, a court can decide (Review)

First can i say that this is one of the most ridiculous situations i have ever heard. How can the name Friday be embarrassing. I know of different instances where people are named Sunday or Monday. I even know people personally who have that name. How ridiculous could Friday be, I heard worse names and i do not believe that the court should force a parent to give another name. This is making Christians look like a dominating way of life. Christianity is not like that, isn't that why our Lord Jesus gave us the ultimate gift of choice?

To top it off, they name the kid Gregory after a Saint! It's a nice name but it shouldn't be forced on the child. Is it me, or a lot of people snitching off others nowadays because of names, it seems really familiar to the British teacher that got arrested for allowing her students to call a teddy bear Mohammad. Wasn't it a fellow teacher that rated her out to the whole world. It's funny how when one is in need, people tend to mind their own business but on something ridiculous, people have the time to report such acts.
As for that clerk that created this big change on 5 month old Friday or Gregory, i think you what you did is not right and you put that family through unnecessary stress. As for the baby, Gregory isn't that bad, at least in Rome, i hope this doesn't mark your family for life.
