Movie Review : I am Legend

I watched this movie and i must say Will Smith is a really talented Actor. He has made a respectable comeback this year. I'm not really a fan of horror movies, this movie isn't exactly one but it did freak me out a little. So if you do plan on watching the movie, maybe a few pointers from me will help

How Long : 1hr 40mins
Are there scary monsters: Yes
Is it worth your money : Yes
Release when? : December 14th 2007 in U.S
Rating: PG-13, note: violence

Movie Description:

Robert Neville (Will Smith) is a brilliant scientist, but even he could not contain the terrible virus that was unstoppable, incurable...and man-made. Somehow immune, Neville is now the last human survivor in what is left of New York City...and maybe the world. But he is not alone. He is surrounded by "the Infected"--victims of the plague who have mutated into carnivorous beings who can only exist in the dark and who will devour or infect anyone or anything in their path. For three years, Neville has spent his days scavenging for food and supplies and faithfully sending out radio messages, desperate to find any other survivors who might be out there. All the while, the Infected lurk in the shadows, watching Neville's every move, waiting for him to make a fatal mistake. Perhaps mankind's last, best hope, Neville is driven by only one remaining mission: to find a way to reverse the effects of the virus using his own immune blood. But his blood is also what The Infected hunt, and Neville knows he is outnumbered and quickly running out of time.

What to name a child? In Italy, a court can decide (Review)

The above article was written by Phillip Pullella by Yahoo news. To view the article just type on the topic on yahoo and it would pop up.

First can i say that this is one of the most ridiculous situations i have ever heard. How can the name Friday be embarrassing. I know of different instances where people are named Sunday or Monday. I even know people personally who have that name. How ridiculous could Friday be, I heard worse names and i do not believe that the court should force a parent to give another name. This is making Christians look like a dominating way of life. Christianity is not like that, isn't that why our Lord Jesus gave us the ultimate gift of choice?

To top it off, they name the kid Gregory after a Saint! It's a nice name but it shouldn't be forced on the child. Is it me, or a lot of people snitching off others nowadays because of names, it seems really familiar to the British teacher that got arrested for allowing her students to call a teddy bear Mohammad. Wasn't it a fellow teacher that rated her out to the whole world. It's funny how when one is in need, people tend to mind their own business but on something ridiculous, people have the time to report such acts.
As for that clerk that created this big change on 5 month old Friday or Gregory, i think you what you did is not right and you put that family through unnecessary stress. As for the baby, Gregory isn't that bad, at least in Rome, i hope this doesn't mark your family for life.

Yep today's hot man is Eric Dane! He's so cute but he's taken, Eric is married to Actress Rebecca Greyheart. (Who by the way, was engaged to the director/producer of Xmen: The Last Stand.)

10 most interesting people for the year 2007

2007 has come and is almost gone, ohhh thank God! this year was really a tough one for many especially celebs, and also for normal folks like me. However i guess that's not all though, it was great for many others...in a way. So, based on research and continuous scrutiny from the media here are the top 10 most interesting people in the year 2007!

Britney Spears

Hmmn...where do i start, from getting arrested, party, going to court, party again, going bald, yep party too, running over a police officer's foot, oh did i mention she partied, running into cars, and then party. Then losing kids to their dad, then she partied afterwards, and how can i forget rehab. In other words 2007 wasn't that pleasant for Miss Spears, she did how ever release an album that is doing pretty well after an embarassing display of talent which also happened this year. 2008 really must have some good graces.

Lindsay Lohan

Rehab! Rehab! then Rehab! poor Lindsay had a grand year with the rehab fiesta. First she also partied (what is up with the late nights), then she tried to run over her employee's mum, she got arrested, and now she's back to rehab. Oh it also seems if you check out her official website by Google it, that site hasn't been updated since last year...seem strange for someone who loves to draw some attention. Hopefully 2008 bring up some good updates on that website.

Paris Hilton

What in the world is going on! Paris Hilton in jail! That got me, i really never imagined she will be spending that much time in jail but boy or boy, did she tick off the law. She started off the usual, checking out herself every chance she gets, the constant late nights, nothing special. The Paris decides she needs to violate her Parole, big mistake. She got herself locked up, released after a day and right back in again. But that didn't stop Paris from giving us all a nice cat-walk on her way out after a few weeks.

Angela Jolie

Frankly I'm a little worried about Miss Jolie, she does a lot, from charities to films, to mother and girlfriend. That's a lot of world and it's beginning to show on her. She is so skinny now, she isn't exactly on top of the sexiest list like in the past. Can you blame her, she did have a kid and adopt 2 more kids by this year end. That's really crazy unless you are a celeb mama. But for Angela, it's all about love and giving. She is one celeb that stands by her desire to make a difference. You know what every good deed deserves a turn. Somehow, i feel she's gonna get that good turn.

Carrie Underwood

Ha, didn't expect to see her on this list did ya. But seriously, this lady is one blessed chic! She may do her thing all quiet but she silently is raising to the top. She didn't carry around all the drama and arrested record that many had, but she was one of the top awarded female artist ever! (not forgetting Celine Dion) That lady is moving to the top and people don't even see it. Her song appeals to all groups and ages, she had so many nominations and award that she ran out of thank you notes. Oh well, good luck this coming year!

Nicole Richie

Okay this lady scares the heck out of me. What happened to her nice curves. This year for Miss Richie did not start good. I'm guessing she had to stay away from the drinking when she got pregnant with boyfriend baby. I'm hoping this will help her because she was getting scary skinny! So skinny people were worried about her health! So far, she's been on the lay low and seriously that is what she need. Hopefully Baby Richie/Madden will bring some joy to stability to Nicole.

Newyork

I just can't stop laughing when i think of Newyork. What the heck is wrong with that woman. I was watching the show 'i love Newyork 2' , and Budda was right, when does Newyork ever use her head. It's hard choosing a man, from a whole bunch of suitors but common why does she cause herself heartache. She seems to be quite charming but she does really makes a complete mess of her brain sometimes. Drama, Drama, Drama, well i guess it works. People really do love drama, and to have some just watch Newyork and her mum on that show. Something tells me that's not gonna change in 2008 or in the next 10 years.

Hilary Clinton

Where do i start with Mrs Clinton, she has really gone far, from President's wife to senator and now a candidate for presidency. That's quite a step and pulling a lot of publicity. I'm not sure how strong she is out there with the masses, but i would say many are impressed by how far she has carried herself despite passed embarrassment her husband had brought to the Clinton family. She always has a good way of carrying her head up high, and standing determined. Good luck Mrs Clinton in the coming elections!

Jennifer Hudson

This lady went from grace to riches. Formerly an American idol contestant, rejected by America, now a superstar after her movie with pop-stars Beyonce Knowles and Jamie Foxx. now that's a good way to start and to top it she got an Oscar for best supporting actress and best performance! That lady dropped it down. That's a good way to show America what you are made of.

President Bush

I love my President BUT there are way too many things that he did to this nation that has caused quite a stare. I just have to say that the nation has not been the same since he stepped into that chair of become our President. It's a tough role and tough decisions has to be made for such a great nation. However, our dear president has done quite enough, many are desperate for our troops to some home, many need a change in the economy, gas prices is ridiculously high and the economy is going through some tough times. However, i must say that our President has really tried and now, his reign is coming to that time where he just has to pass the crown to another deserving person.
